Data Profiling & Analysis
Data Profiling should be the first step in any data quality project.  Profiling will provide in depth analysis and therefore allow you to assess the quality of your organisations data and quickly expose data quality issues.  Profiling your data upfront will almost certainly save time, money and unnecessary processing during the data quality project, and compared to the time and cost implications should these problems only be discovered later in the projects life, this stage of the data quality process is vital.

Data Matching
Merging data from various systems into a single view provides your organisation with the ability to make more informed and accurate decisions.  We have vast experience in data matching and with the various matching techniques developed over the years we would aim to achieve a high match rate on your data.
 
Data De-Duplication
Most organisations with multiple systems and even smaller organisations running only a single database are subject to the problems of duplicate records within their data.  Duplicate records normally occur because there are errors within the data making it difficult to identify these duplicates.  Duplicate record identification and resolution is therefore key for businesses to help eliminate these inconsistencies.
 
Data Standardization
Lack of processes and standards is a major cause of data quality anomalies.  Correct Data Profiling will identify inconsistencies in data standards, formats, and structures.  It will also help highlight inappropriate data capturing processes.   During Data Standardization we would develop routines to correct your organisations data to the correct standard as defined by the business and also help develop and implement new improved processes to help maintain ongoing data quality.
 
Data Improvement
Similar to Data Standardization, Data Improvement or Cleansing would be the process used to correct data quality anomalies or enhance your data using predefined business rules or any available third party data. 
 
Address Validation
Address data is often a key item of data to companies.  Not holding the correct address information for your customers or clients could not only become costly but could also potentially cause embarrassment to your organisation.  Address Validation could therefore be used to verify the accuracy and completeness and to enhance your address information.
 
Data Quality Monitoring
Data Quality is never a once off task. It requires ongoing monitoring and maintenance as your data evolves.  Using a range of metrics, the quality of your data can be monitored and reported on a regular basis.
